Problem

Specifications from this automobile manufacturer required portable electric washdown unit with variable flow 0-4 gpm, variable pressure 0-3000 psi and variable temperature from ambient to steam.  

Solution

Our design included a steam generator which supplied an adjustable amount of steam into a custom designed (by Acme) heat exchanger and a pump provided an adjustable amount of high-pressure water into the heat exchanger thus providing a variable flow, pressure and temperature. 

Results

The customer was so pleased they purchased a similar unit for a sister plant.
