Established in 1970, ACME has custom designed and manufactured explosion proof and high specification pressure washers, high pressure wash down systems, water blasters, pump packages, and cleaning equipment. ACME has served many industries including: Oil & Gas, Marine, Refining, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Agriculture, Food & Beverage, and other Industrial applications.
Our explosion proof, severe-duty systems can be designed for use in electrically classified locations (Class I Division 1 or Zone 1). These systems can be electric with heat or air driven (pneumatic). When heat is used we heat the water after the pump which greatly increases the life of the pump. ACME is also experienced in designing systems for harsh Marine, Offshore, and Arctic environments. Options include multiple gun applications and the use of variable speed drives and pressure transmitters which allows for constant pressure and automatic on and off operation, which greatly increases safety.
In addition to Niagara’s industrial pressure washers, ACME specializes in designing any high pressure pumping or cleaning systems. Examples include turbine impeller wash systems, hydrostatic testing units, reverse osmosis pumps, brine systems, glycol systems, deburring castings, systems to clean oil from gravel, tank cleaning, truck washes, railcar cleaning, steel cleaning, paint removal, and many others.
